Hello, I have scrounged the forums for help with this issue and I cannot seem to get my WNDA3100v2 Adapter to work with PopOs. I understand that POP and ubuntu systems are not that different from one another so I have been able to follow some other post steps to remedy this issue.
ALL info is below, if more is needed please let me know... I would really like to not keep using my phone to tether my desktop...
My current situation:
Code:
lo no wireless extensions.
eno1 no wireless extensions.
enp0s29u1u6 no wireless extensions.
I have the correct .inf installed
Code:
~$ ndiswrapper -l
bcmn43xx64 : driver installed
device (0846:9011) present
My system recognizes the usb.
Code:
:~$ lsusb

Oh and if I do
sudo modprobe ndiswrapper
after starting my computer and I am not tethered, it hangs forever then when I shut down or restart my computer I get the
Target reached shutdown but my system doesn't shut down or restart it just hangs in a perpetual loop.
So if anyone can help me out i would deeply appreciate it.
If it doesnt work after trying this long, I will just have to buy a linux compatible Wifi Adapter. I would really just like to use what I have that I know still works.
