Unstable Bluetooth Connection in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

    Hello,
I just bought a pair of Pamu Slide (wireless earphone) and I am having problem with it on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
The device is able to connect with Ubuntu but the sound is so glitchy. Although, I tried connecting Pamu Slide with other OS like Windows and Android and it worked just fine.

Since the reply rate Padmate (the producer) is so so low, I want to ask is there anything I can do with Ubuntu that potentially solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi, welcome to the fora.

I am not familiar with your particuar brand of earphones but I suggest that you try a newer Ubuntu as a first, simple test.

Because of the microphones it may have defaulted to pairing with the headset audio profile (which sounds pretty bad) rather than the high fidelity playback profile. Check your Bluetooth settings to pair it as A2DP.
