Gcompris issue on ubuntu server

there is this n-computing setup with ubuntu server installed on it. I want to run G-compris on it. downloaded it. working fine on the server. on the client it is not showing up. when I use search option on the client systems - it shows many folders with gcompris name on it. We click on the gcompris icon but it does start. infact no action.

any help would be grateful.
totally new to the ubuntu server system.
