Hi Folk, using since many years Ubuntu and my android phones connected, moved recenty to 19.04 version and Cinnamon as DE, I'm not able anymore to connect my phones (Google Pixel 2 XL neither Huawei Mate 20 X) to my Ubuntu. Attached error window I need it for my job, please can you help me, please? I've installed adb and fastboot, as usual Thank you

Can you check if the libmtp or other mtp relevant packages are installed on the machine and not lost as part of the upgrade?

This is something that forum staff and many forum members stress repeatedly, but there are those who seem unable to understand the necessity of providing clear details of what solution was found when they mark their thread as solved. Perhaps the OP thought their vague description in post #2 was sufficient. Since the OP has not logged in since posting #2, it seems unlikely that they will have the courtesy to provide more information. In the circumstances I have removed the solved tag and closed the thread since it provides no useful information.
