chattr is the closest. I don't know if that works on NTFS file systems using the ntfs driver. Depending on the type of data stored on these disks, ntfs could be ok, or a terrible choice, as already mentioned. If there is any plan to store Linux backups there, then a number of Linux backup options will not work without a Linux file system. You'll need to be careful how you do it. Whereas if Linux file systems are used, then any sort of backups or files can be stored there and disk performance will be noticeably better.
