Question How Can I Get My XBox 360 Controller With Wireless Adapter to Work on Ubuntu 18.04 LT

I have an XBox 360 Controller that I got with my PC that came with Windows on it. It came with a receiver that says "Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows". It works fine on Windows 10, just plug and play. Is there a way I can get it to work on Ubuntu? I play most of my games using the Controller.

doe you have xboxdrv installed? it used to be needed: https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/06/...xboxdrv-driver
or at least it's configuration: https://github.com/raelgc/ubuntu_xboxdrv

also for some new versions of Ubuntu some users reported some issues but can be resolved: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gamin...60_controller/
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
