I'm guessing most of us use HDMI like I do. I'm not sure I understand the point of your question. Are you having a problem with VGA?

Bluetooth has been my first choice, but I do have a smart tv with built in wifi and happy with it. For me, its just nice to have the freedom a wireless setup has.

Can you ship an entire display over Bluetooth? Does it have the bandwidth to handle a 1980x1080p or even a 1280x720p image without stuttering?

you plug in the cable to your VGA PC, then you plug the other end to TV. make sure the plugs fit into the hole. VGA goes to VGA, DVI to DVI, DP to DP, and HDMI to HDMI. you might need a VGA to HDMI or VGA to DVI if your TV doesnt have VGA plug. if you have VGA-VGA cable you can also buy an adapter. that's it. if PC monitor is not working you shoul dbe bale to switch to the other monitor (if it's not automatically activated) by using the DE shortcut. in Kubuntu this is winkey+p

once you get picture, you can set the TV as "primary monitor".

Bluetooth has latency issues with keyboard/mouse, I can't imagine using it for display.

    $35.00 Chromecast for Video Playback.

VLC will "Cast" from my computer to the Chromecast. KDE Connect will allow me to use the VLC Media Controls directly on my phone. Play / Pause / Rewind / Fast Forward / Etc.
