Unable to post, 403 forbidden newthread, apache

Hi all. I'm trying to ask a question in Hardware but getting:

43 forbidden: You don't have permission to access /newthread.php on this server. Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) Server at ubuntuforums.org Port 443

Any idea why this might be? I'm logged in & a member in good standing. Posting doesn't work even if I delete all the content and just post "TEST" i.e. it's not a message length thing.

    Thanks!

Apparently you were able to post here!

In which sub-forum were you attempting to post?

I get the same message when I seach a topic on the forum landing page and when I click on any of the posts to view the thread. I have Ubuntu 19.04 installed on desktop pc. I see may other people claim solutions for this (editing the apache conf file), but it does not seem to work for me.

This error occurs with both Firefox and Chromium. It doe not occur with Midori web browser? I cleare the cash of Firefox as well after changes were made.

Even more complicated. I reproduce the error on my Mac with Firefox and Safari. Here is the search I do: https://ubuntuforums.org/search.php?searchid=20187291

Then, when I want to open any of the posts, I get this error.

    Thanks!
