A bit of bashing fits the OP.
However, with my previous comment regarding the updating during a presentation, etc, etc, etc. I don't bash on Windows 10. I think Windows 10 is a great operating system. It's just that there are things about it that are enabled by default. You can turn off automatic updates, or defer your updates. So there are solutions to these issues. The problem I have is that they are turned on by default. Along with some other things, like Telemetry, that cannot be completely turned off, even with after-market applications.
Ubuntu (or Kubuntu, in my case) just works better for me. I feel more "at home" when using it. It uses less system resources than Windows 10, and I can actually "feel" the programs running faster.
Although, I am not sure how many Linux users would still be Linux (only, no dual booting) users if Windows 10 fixed their problems. That goes for Mac as well.
Pretty easy to see how this can turn into a bashing-session.
