Wild Dog Pro and PS/2 keyboard and recent Ubuntu versions

Is anyone able to verify whether a keyboard that is plugged in to the PS/2 port on the Wild Dog Pro (wilp12) works with any Ubuntu version at or later than 17.04 ?

I am finding that it doesn't seem to be recognised / doesn't work at all.

It works fine with 16.04 and 16.10 so it seems as if something was broken.

For the later versions I've tried a bunch of versions as a LiveBoot and I've also installed 18.04.2 from scratch on an external drive - with no success as far as a working PS/2 keyboard goes.

I would guess that System 76 no longer sells a desktop that has a PS/2 port (??), so perhaps noone has tested a PS/2 port recently.
