    There are 1219 wallpapers at https://www.gnome-look.org/browse/cat/300/ as well as themes, icons etc etc.

    Definitely worth a look!

    There is a gnome add on called "Bing Wallpaper changer".
    https://github.com/neffo/bing-wallpaper-gnome-extension
    It can be installed (and removed) via Ubuntu software.

    I've always just completed a Google search for the type of image, right-click, View Image, then Save as when I've wanted a background image. Most of the time I have one of my pictures taken while hiking as my background.

    I use my own photos. I KNOW they are safe.
    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    env DISPLAY=:0 feh -qd --draw-tinted --randomize --bg-max -f ~/Pictures/pict-list.2019
    exit;
    Run that to change the background, if you use normal X/Windows. You could put a sleep-loop to change it periodically and run it as part of your session startup.

    No need to download wallpapers, just take a shapshot of anything you want.
