Hello.
My boss has lent me a XPS 15 9560 laptop to work at home.
I have installed Kubuntu 19.04 and I wanted to connect it to a big external monitor.
Connecting it through the hdmi port doesn't seem to work, no matter what I try, I've read many people reporting the same problem.
I've got to connect it through the displayport with an adapter.
So far so good, but but something strange happens.
Whenever I plug or unplug the cable my laptop automatically shuts down.
The same happens when I connect it to a large TV.
I'm using the latest nVidia drivers and the GPU is a GTX 1050.
How can I avoid this problem?
