    clock location

Several weeks ago I added kubuntu to my system in an effort to get fonts under control. Had some problems, never did get all fonts under control but, other than that things seem to have magically fixed themselves. The one thing that didn't was the location of the clock. It used to be in the middle but now its in the middle of my right side icons and I would prefer it was in the middle. I have searched for a solution to no avail. I did notice that there seemed to be a connection to the dock but my dock is on the bottom of my screen and the clock/date/weather is in the top bar.

How do I get the clock/date/weather icons back into the middle of the top bar?

The second problem is now I also have a bottom bar which shows my active programs which would be nice to get rid of.

When I login I login to the kde login screen - I have turned off auto login. If I turn it back on I think I login to ubuntu.

    Thank you...........
