I tried Opera from Windows and Flash works though I get promoted to install the ten cent video player application for the NBA videos.Firefox has no such prompt and plays the videos. You can see this prompt in one of 1fallen's screenshots.

    Re: No Flash Player?

Try it now with firefox >> and I installed this time "flashplugin-installer"
    Code:
    apt policy flashplugin-installer
    flashplugin-installer:
      Installed: 32.0.0.171ubuntu1
      Candidate: 32.0.0.171ubuntu1
      Version table:
     *** 32.0.0.171ubuntu1 500
            500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu disco/multiverse amd64 Packages
            100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Wish I could figure out what is different about my install and those here that are having problems playing the vids from those sites.

I got the same problem as you. Installed PPAPI even though I think chrome doesn't depends on it. Now Flash content works in Firefox but Chrome only shows a grey background with a darker grey plugin icon on its button right corner.

Same here. Two systems. Flash is enabled for site in Chrome, but the browser just blocks it every time. Made using Adobe Connect quite difficult.

As of today 4-24-2019 it no longer works with>>Version 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Seems it's just for those two sites, so far that I can find anyway.

    Re: No Flash Player?

This has nothing to do with the version.
The PPAPI plugin did not work on Xubuntu 19.04 at all, neither with Chrome nor with chromium or vivaldi browser. It is a javascript error. At xubuntu 18.10 every browser works with the same settings.
