(Ubuntu 16.04) Music files not showing up in Music folder after ripping

I am attempting to rip cds with asunder and at first it seems to work, except when i look for the files in the music folder they are not present. I have tried to download the metidata packages by opening the terminal and typing sudo apt-get install https://help.ubuntu.com/Community/RestrictedFormats and also sudo apt-get install https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu. Both times I got a message stating that the package could not be found. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Are you looking in the right place? Unless you changed the default settings, the ripped files go into your home folder, not the Music folder. The default file type is ogg, and you don't need to install any extra codecs to encode that type of file.
