Web browsers not reproducing audio

Hi,
I have Ubuntu 18.04 in my HP Pavillion laptop. Web browsers (firefox and chrome) are not reproducing any sound. However, videos have (reproduced with VLC). Another user in the same laptop has no problem. What I should do?

Do you have pavucontrol installed? I use it to set (and troubleshoot) sound issues.
(sudo apt install pavucontrol)
