    additionally I had an issue on Kubuntu that after xrdpxorg installation after a reboot PC in terminal login mode, to solve it sddm should be installed (apt install sddm)

    I tried your solution on Ubuntu 18.10 (running it as a vm on Hyper-V on Windows 10) and it also works like a charm!

    I installed the latest updates yesterday for my 18.04.4 install to include HWE and now xRDP is broken.
    I get this message when I try to connect:

    Help?
