Ubuntu core keyboard issue during install

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Core for Raspberry Pi 3 on SD card as described at https://www.ubuntu.com/download/iot/raspberry-pi-2-3

During the setup and I'm prompted for my Ubuntu SSO email address.
I'm using a germain keyboard and I cannot fin a combination that will give me '@', obviously a bit of an issue for an email address

Try using shift " . That's what I use to get @. For some reason these are reversed on my keyboard
