Not sure if it was clear, it also fails with wired networking - same idea: shows "connected" but does not allow any traffic.
Did you make the change to resolv.conf the nameserver 1.1.1.1 might not work
Just #'d it out and restarted. No soap. resolv.conf now shows 127.0.0.53 as the nameserver - Or is there a better way to kill that and force
Add DNS to Network Manager settings or go back to 18.04 as it is supported until 2023 when support for 18.10 ends in August of this year

Hmm. Changed it to 8.8.8.8 and it shows as connected, but still can't ping anything But that is differnt behavior - before it was showing a "?" in the wifi indicator, now it shows full signal...
