18.04 Touchpad detected as mouse

SO I bought this new laptop Lenovo V330 3 days back.
Everything work fine except touchpad.
The behavior "disable while typing does not work".

Hello,

not a definite answer to your question, yet if nothing else works I would advice you to add the command:
syndaemon -i 1 -K -d

to your startup applications, where 1 is the time in seconds where your touchpad won't react while typing.
You could check if you can disable touchpad while typing from dconf editor, yet it did not work in my case.
