Re: What web-browser do you use on Ubuntu?

Chrome on all of my (six) machines except one 32-bit netbook that uses Chromium. I think I have Chromium on a Raspberry Pi3 also.
I used Firefox once on each machine to download Chrome. Chromium, I installed from the Ubuntu repository.

Chromium, because it has the best HW acceleration and the lowest CPU load for e.g. YouTube videos.

I thought I would cut out chrome and avoid the Spying and memory usage, but chrome uses A LOT less resources under Ubuntu for some reason but so does most games and windows programs XD.

Everytime I try to switch to firefox I have to remeber all my passwords etc, after using chrome for 8 years and the auto sync between devices they got in first and lifes harder without it

Currently: Firefox. I've been trying to become less Google dependent, get away from Chrome. Opera isn't bad, but won't play Netflix.

i use Firefox for graphical browsing and for sites that need javascript. i use lynx for command line and text based stuff. for programmed use it might be wget or whatever is most useful such as various library modules for python scripts.

I've used, tested and switched to a lot of web browsers over time.
So currently, I've recently given up Min to Brave Browser as my current web browser.
Having Sielo as my alternative one, and waiting for the full Sushi Browser port to Electron/Chromium to use it once again as my main web browser. Out of all the web browser i´ve used, I´ll surely take Sushi Browser as my favorite, the amount of features and things it can do from scratch is just astonishing.
