As stated in the title, I installed Lubuntu 14.04 on a Vostro 1710 and for some reason the touchpad has stopped working after some updates. Can someone run me through how to troubleshoot and what drivers / conf files to edit? Thanks!

I should add I just rebooted and it now works. But then I rebooted again and it did not. Seems to be some instability with whatever driver / timing, etc.
