    ./initn -t 2 process: what is it anyway ?

I'm struggling with a big issue:
in htop I see these 2 lines
    ./initn -t 2
which are taking up 50% of my cpu time.

when I do a search on the file system all I can find is this entry in the shared memory:
    /dev/shm/initn

I have no clue what this initn process is or how to stop it.
Killing it just makes it appear again after 10 seconds or so.

searching for the parent processes didn't help.
    ps -o ppid=<initn pid>
gives me 2 lines result which point to
    my ssh session
    -bash

This process prevents my server from running glassfish, it just makes it disappear without a trace.
I'm interested in what that thing is, but even more I just want to kill it.
Any help with that is highly appreciated.

Running ubuntu 18.04 server with the latest updates.
