Help on postings a message.

This is just for my assistance, but I seem to be blocked from posting some lines of my log file.

I am trying to ask about the logs and what is happening and how do I find out about it and where do I go look.
But as soon as I add a line from the log is it blocked.

I assume the log is indicating something bad but how to I ask?

If you have a large file you are better off using a pastebin:

It was not a large file but two or three small lines from a log file probably less than 40 characters

Please do as deadflowr asked, then post the link here, that might give us a clue as to why you can not post it on the forum, also if you are receiving an error message while trying to post the log file include that in your next post.

Any way the log files I could not post into the security forum I now believe show someone fishing for vulnerabilities to gain access to my simple server via bot.

You don't have permission to access /newreply.php on this server.

If so, you might have accidentally run foul of the restrictions Canonical have put in place. One way around this might be to use Ubuntu Pastbin.

Missing notification again.
Just gone and checked that all my subscriptions show instant so should have got emails

yes that is the message I am seeing, just tried again to check.

Have I missed a forum post about it I checked the forum rules and posting tips? Not seen anything that suggested what I was doing wrong.

Anyway I am not trying to complain as many of the answers I have received have been fantastic to some of my questions, it was just at the time i could not understand why.
