Unhappy Why in Linux there is no Photoshop and other Creative Cloud programs?

I want to switch from Windows to Linux, but photoshop and other more proprietary programs not ported on Linux. This is because Linux distributions use the GPL license or is there another problem? Why Canonical won't help proted Adobe CC Programs?

Have you tried asking Adobe why they won't port their programs to Linux?
I suspect the answer is that they don't think the extra sales would fund the required development effort, but only they can say for sure.

Moved to Ubuntu, Linux and OS Chat for a better fit.
Please, people, remember to BACKUP before you install that new system. Same if you're upgrading.

I seems that something is missing in Linux for convenient porting, for example, many desktop environments make more problems for porting.
Maybe need to make a petition?

There is nothing more difficult about porting Windows software to Linux than the fact that they are entirely different operating systems. Linux doesn't do anything to make things difficult any more than a round hole does anything to make fitting a square peg more difficult. Should the round hole be expected to square itself?

Again: it is the purveyors of the software you mention who would be responsible for porting their work to Linux.

Your "petition" would need to be aimed at them, not the Linux community.

In Adobe forum says that the Linux community won't buy their software.

And? Must the Linux community be responsible to buy someone's software?

Are you required to buy a Peugeot when you would rather own a Fiat?

Why would the Linux community want to buy something when in general there are free alternatives?

As far as I know Gimp is a very credible alternative to Photoshop. It has one big disadvantage: it's free.

GIMP developers don't have good funding.
