VNC (Virtual Network Computing) on the Raspberry Pi

    good evening dear Ubuntu-Experts,

i am planning to run a VNC (Virtual Network Computing) on the Raspberry Pi -

Well for me it is not allways convenient to work directly on the Raspberry Pi.
Very often i would like to work on it from another device by remote control - so there seem to be a set of options that support me here:

to get accasss via network ( i e via VNC) on my Raspberry Pi i can use the VNC-Client.
Well there many manay solutions out there which support me here:

    Windows: z. B. TightVNC
    Mac OS X: z. B. Chicken
Linux: z. B. vncviewer (tigervnc) and others omre!

    what wolud you recommmend
