WMP.DLL Error - Game Issue

Hi guys,

I have downloaded the installer for a relatively small game off the internet. The installation was successful but when I click on the icon to open the game it runs through some messages such as "Downloading updater' etc... and then comes up with the following message:

"Component 'wmp.dll' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing of invalid"

I have tried to reseach this issue online but I'm not having a lot of success.

I'm using Ubuntu Mate 16.04 and if it helps the game is Deloria Online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, the download is a .msi file, which stands for Microsoft Software Installer. Here's a (possible) way to install it:
