Printer Installed Notification on Startup - 18.04 GNOME

    Hello all,
Everytime I boot up my new-ish 18.04 machine it tells me a printer has been added. The first time I booted I loved that it just found my printer and added it. Now it keeps saying it's been found. I was wondering if there was a way to turn off this notification. I have looked online for answers but none of them work on 18.04 as far as I can tell. I've looked into the printer settings as well and couldn't find anything there that would stop these notifications from appearing. Overall I am loving Ubuntu, I used it a bit in 2011 in Highschool but am happy to ditch Apple and Windows.

Have you actually used the printer since installing 18.04? Have you tried going into the settings and marking it as the default printer?

I have used this printer a couple of times. I've deleted it, re-added it, and set it as the default printer.
