    Messages at start up

I am a complete beginner at using Linux and Ubuntu.
I have installed Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS in a VirtualBox VM.
I am now, some time after exploring how to use Ubuntu, getting message when I start Ubuntu.
I have (hopefully) attached a screenshot of the VM display taken by the Host system (not linux).
I do not know what to do about these messages or why they occur.

It is possible that they started after I had a host system crash.

Hi and welcome to the forums

After the messages are you able to reach the login screen and then get to the desktop?

If yes, there is probably not much to worry about.

    Mostly, those are just informational.

The messages are always there but usually do not show on screen when 'quiet splash' are on the linux line in the /boot/grub/grub.cfg file menuentry. The link below explains how to show the messages so just do the reverse. It would be more of a problem if it showed "Failed" rather than "OK".
