In release notes, I've read the following:
"The encryption software VeraCrypt is supported officially by GNOME Disks which means that it does not need to be installed separately anymore to mount and create encrypted volumes."
I use veracrypt for various reasons, but don't understand what 18.10 provides. I've looked and man and help pages for gnome-disks, but that didn't show me much.
So, how do I leverage 18.10 to mount/dismount/ecrypt/decrypt partitions and/or disks using gnome-disks and veracrypt?
Is there a way to do this 'automatically' in fstab, or such?
Or, does this just mean that 18.10 will properly dismount mounted veracrypt partitions on shutdown (currently, I do it via a logout script before shutting down).
Help!
