Lenovo Ideapad 110s keyboard and trackpad doesn't work after shut down

I installed Ubuntu 18.04 on my Lenovo ideapad 110s a couple of days ago and so far I am very happy with how much faster it runs than when it had Windows 10 on it (with Windows 10, there was a lag when typing). However, every time I start the computer after a complete shut down, I have to plug a USB keyboard and mouse in, upgrade Ubuntu, then restart the computer in order for the trackpad and keyboard to start working. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well, never mind. It seems to have stopped doing this. The keyboard and trackpad are now working at startup. Maybe the last upgrade fixed it?
