    Hibernate not working

    Hi,

    I'm new to Linux.
    I'm running Lubuntu 18.10. On clicking hibernate,a confirmation screen appears.On clicking Yes,nothing happens.Not only does the computer not hibernate,but there is no response at all.
    So how do I hibernate?

    systemctl hibernate
    ...from terminal work to put it into hibernate?
