First Cup of Ubuntu
Hi, I have an elderly 32 bit IMAC in which I have transformed into a Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I works great except i can't find a video driver of the Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV610/M74 [Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT] video card.
If I can't find one (I've tried) can I get the Mac to boot to a generic driver?

You didn't say specifically, so I ask - did you follow this:

Are you trying Radeon driver or AMDGPU driver? Do not try fglrx.
