Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 bottlenecking at 40 mbps

    Hello

    Ubuntu version: latest
    Desktop: KDE
    Pastebin wireless diagnostics: http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/ZvbcPR2vGj/

I am using a Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 as reported by the system, it is a Gigabit ethernet adapter on my Gigabyte motherboard

I am new to Ubuntu and do not know how to get the appropriate drivers or solve the issue.

I have tried many different approaches regarding this specific adapter but they all apply to when there is no connection at all as opposed to getting a connection but it is slow.

I pay for 250mbps internet at an absurd cost and would like to make use of it.

I also make use of a long CAT6 cable but I get max speed in Windows dual boot so I am next to certain it's a driver issue.

Any suggestions or fixes for this?

    tysm.
