My wife and I went over to a woman's house last night. She wanted help with her PC. It's running Vista. We told her she needed to replace it ASAP because Windows doesn't support Vista any more. She started arguing that she's still getting updates from Windows.
I insisted that she's not getting updates. She insisted she is. We went to "Windows Updates". There was a slew of various updates for Vista from just this month, October 2018. I didn't know what to say, except apologize for arguing with her.
I googled around a bit this morning but can't find anything on the webz except for the usual warnings that Vista is no longer supported as of... etc. etc. Can anyone explain?
