    Boot stuck

I have a very strange behavior from my desktop with Ubuntu. I have installed a graphic card (GTX1070) and now I am stuck booting, reaching only a black screen with a cursor on it.
The same thing happened some weeks ago when installing a PCI-E WiFi card, but at that time I needed to format everything so I didn’t pay much attention.

    Anyone has any suggestion?

(By installing, I only mean plugging the GPU into the PCI-E slot, no driver installation). The monitor is still magari by another graphic card, for which the drivers are installed.
