Hi guys,
Since a few days my 'brand new' pc is up and running. I had some troubles to activate the GPU... My cpu = AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, thisone has an internal GPU. This GPU (third party: Canonical) needs to be installed with the AMDGPU-PRO driver.
Thisone is only for the release 16.04 with kernel 4.15. There are no other drivers available. That I discovered after trying all other releases, from 19.xx (Mint) donw to 16.04.
In the 16.04, Ubuntu asks to perform upgrade to version 18.xx. I would love to do this, but the performance of the GPU goes underground.
Now he is running at +/- 6000fps. With the try-out of the 18.xx this was less than 50 fps. SCHOKKING!!!
So, ...
Has anybody a good answer to accept the update, with working GPU and without crashing speed?
Thanks in advance...
