HP Elitebook 810 - screen blank after suspend with kernel 4.15.0-36

On my HP Elitebook 810 Revolve, up through Linux kernel 4.15.0-34-generic, if I shut my notebook, it suspended, and it would work again after I reopened it and toggled the power button.

On kernel 4.15.0-36-generic, if I shut my notebook, it suspends, but when i reopen it and toggle the power button, the screen never comes back on. The keyboard lights up as expected, but the screen really doesn't work, and I have to restart my computer entirely to get it working again.
