Help needed with KY-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter

Hi! I have a KY-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter I would like to get working with Ubuntu 18.04.1 (64-bit). It used to work fine on Ubuntu 15.04 on my old computer. I did some searches and found this thread:

    https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread....light=KY-BT100

of course, that didn't give me much hope. However, when I run the commands mentioned in that thread:

    Code:
uname -a; lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net; lsusb; dmesg | grep -i bluetooth; dmesg | grep -i firmware; lsmod | grep bluetooth
    I get this output:

    Code:

What I find interesting are the "DENIED" apparmor lines. Is apparmor possibly blocking access to the Bluetooth adapter?

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Peace...

Re: Help needed with KY-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter

I ended up getting the adapter working. I had to plug it into a powered USB port. Once I did that, I was able to see my phone from my computer.

    Peace...

I had the same problem, I found something that works to me, it's in Spanish, but I can help you with translation. I'm using Ubuntu 18.04.2
