Problems with OKI MC562 printer in UBuntu 18.04

Hi, I have been using OKI MC562 on Ubuntu for a long time with no problems (through network). Also with 18.04 it worked for a couple of weeks, until today after some updates were integrated, it does not connect to the printer any long and instead finds a CUPS BRG printer, which has none of the possibilitie as usual MC5062 (i.e. double side printing, number of pages pr page etc) , which are usually givn by the PID I have stored. How can I tell Ubuntu to use the PID, without getting the error message "CUPS server error: there was an error during CUPS operation : 'client-error-document-format-not-supported"? This happens when I use CUPS in the advanced "add printer" or Internet printing protocol for that matter.

    Thanks!
