VMTools on ubuntu Mac

I am using ubuntu, where ir virtualize via vmware a macOS guest. My pc uses an AMD proccessor, everything works fine, except for the vmtools, i cant install it. i suspect i has something to do with the extra code for an amd processor to run a macOS. y algo have an intel based laptop that works fine. Can someone help me with this, i dont know where else to ask. Thanks in advance for any help.

While you are free to install another OS on an Apple machine, it is a violation of Apple's EULA to install their OSes on any machine other than an Apple machine. Your VM is not an Apple machine.
