    Question System sounds on Openbox?

Hi everyone! I'm making a distro with Linux Ubunutu 14.04 and using Openbox as Display Manager. I have a problem with sounds. I want to hear sounds from error, information, warning dialogs etc. But there's no sound when these dialogs appear. I found the "freedesktop" folder in /usr/share/sounds that contains ".oga" sound files with names like error dialog, warning dialog, message etc. I listened to them all with play command and there's no problem. What should I do or install. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Note : I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 on VirtualBox 5.2 and Installed "Ubuntu" on VBox with mini .iso

    Re: System sounds on Openbox?

Support for 14.04 ends in less than 6 months. Best to move to 16.04 which will be supported until 2021 before spending any time on 14.04 as a base.

I have no clue about the sound thing, sorry.
