hey, im completely new to ubuntu, i had it installed yesteday and it was running perfectly, today i was playing music, pause it and when i went to play it again no sound. I have no sounds at all. Please HELP ME!

Have you gone into the sound (volume) setting and then into Audio Mixer to see if it is muted or turned the whole way down?
