Files - 1 new notification

Folks,

Recently upgraded to 18:04 from 16:04, all went fine and appears to be working well.

Puzzled by a notification, After a period of non use the screen shuts down, when I resume I get a message saying 'Files - 1 New Notification'. I have no idea what this refers to, I've searched around the Desktop to try and see what this refers to, all to no avail.

Is anyone able to enlighten me?

Click on the time/date in center of panel which opens the calendar drop-down, which also shows unread notifications.
