Airplane Mode can't be turned off in Sony Vaio VPCEB32EN running Ubuntu 18.04

I don't know how but the Airplane mode got turned on by itself and is requiring a hardware switch to turn it off. I don't find any hardware switch on my laptop. What should I do?

Try removing the battery and power cord for about 5 minutes. Reinstall both and see if that fixes it.

My old Sony Vaio had a switch on the front edge of the keyboard. I accidentally shut it off once

I checked my Vaio and there is no switch on this model.

Sorry. It is extremely embarrassing. I must have done what jeremy31 did! It was right down there in front of trackpad.
