downloaded drivers for wireless Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 for ubuntu 16.04

I have downloaded the recommended drivers for the network adapter ot the title. Are they automatically installed in ubuntu 16.04 or do i need to
do this manually ? what are the commands? How do I check if these have been installed properly?

I seem not to have wireless internet regularly so I decided to install the drivers again to have wireless internet in ubuntu 16.04.

The driver is included in the kernel, you do not need to install a driver for that device.

If you are having wifi issues please click on the wireless script in my signature, follow the directions for running it and posting the results back here using the pastebin link created.
