Where can I find ubuntu 17.10 desktop image?

Hey there, I'd like to install ubuntu 17.10 onto my laptop since I've been having a lot of driver related issues with 18.04 due to its prematurity. However I can't seem to find the appropriate image. I tried the desktop image here http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/17.10/ however my laptop is not AMD so it doesn' work. Is there any way to install 17.10 on to my 64bit intel laptop?

    Thanks.

AMD64 is what you want, but instead 17.10 install 16.04 because it is LTS.

I like the look and feel of 17.10 better so I'd prefer it.. But when I try to boot off the USB it just hangs on black screen with white dash in the top left corner...

    It's a Dell XPS 9570, intel i7 8300h processor with a GTX 1050ti max-q. I already have a dual boot with windows 10 and 18.04 set up.

17.10 has passed its End of Life (EOL) is no longer supported. It receives no updates, security or otherwise, and it would be vulnerable to attack if connected to the internet.

It would also be incredibly difficult to install any package not included with the initial install. It would make a lot more sense to work through the driver issues on 18.04.

17.10 was released last year and if your CPU is i5 8300H (I do not see i7 8300H) it was launched this year. Probably you have to stay with 18.04 or wait for 18.04.2.

Your options are either 16.04 or 18.04. Personally I find 16.04 a lot more stable, 18.04 by and large works but glitchy on certain things, which may or may not be show stopper depending on your use case. As far as I am concerned the only reason for 18.04 over 16.04 is newer software, but I always get the latest and greatest for applications that I use regularly by compiling or ppa, so for me 18.04 has absolutely no advantage and a few set backs..

Maybe you can tell us exactly what are your driver issues so others can help.
