    Notifications became HUGE!

    Hello,

I am using Ubuntu 18.04. Recently the size of the on screen notifications suddenly changed to HUGE!

I had changed my system language to a different language and then back again. I also had enabled and then disabled screen reader from the universal access menu. I am not sure if one of these actions could have caused the problem.

Can anyone give me a clue how to change them back to normal size?

    Thank you!

    No, that's a forums bug.
People are looking at the thread.

As per the thread, so everyone is on the same page, you mean the notifications you would get from here:
    https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-h...ations.html.en
and not some other notifications method, like what Ubuntu 16.04 and the unity desktop used, right?

Hi, thank you for your reply.

Yes I am referring to gnome shell notifications. I am using the default gnome desktop environment on ubuntu 18.04.

The only thoughts I have is>>> Using the gnome-tweak-tool, which should be available in the repositories (or installed already), you can adjust font sizes and scaling, along with some HiDPI scaling options.

There are also a few scaling options in the "Universal Access/Accessibility" section of the Gnome settings program.

One of those should have the setting you need to adjust.
Or try disabling all extensions using "gnome-tweak-tool" and you may need to re-login to see the changes.
