Your're welcome to ask questions here but you will need to post in the Ubuntu/Debian BASED sub-forum.

Thread moved to Forum Feedback & Help.

You are very welcome to post questions about most operating systems. As PaulW2U points out, there is a sub-forum for Ubuntu based distros that are not the official Ubuntu flavours. You can find other non-Ubuntu distro sub-forums in Other OS Support and Projects. The first two main sections shown on the home page of the forum are reserved for the official Ubuntu flavours.

What is it that makes an Ubuntu flavour?

    Re: Pop OS Support

There is a long and involved process that leads for some to recognition as an official flavor. Only Canonical can confer that distinction.

A distro based on Ubuntu does not enjoy that distinction simply because it is based on Ubuntu.
