Angry Moderator QIII being overly zealous

I have Forum Admin QIII making an issue of one sentence in one post in a thread I started and marked solved. I have since edited the "offending" phrase.

Is he trying to make look stupid?

It's a straightforward solution as some work-arounds are, but it is being caused by what I consider to be a bug. All I was asking was for somebody else's validation before filing a Launchpad report. Is not repeating an occurance or experiment the essence of scientific method?

    My last post in thread
Re: Gigabit ethernet throttled after upgrade 16.04.5 LTS to 18.04.1 LT was combative in public as he is criticizing me in public, and IMHO, outside the Code of Conduct, which I have digitally signed. If there's a problem, why isn't this being handled by PM? Just as easy, and I would willingly make the edit to comply if that's really a policy, i.e., asking for verification not allowed before filing launchpad bug against some unknown package or the upgrade application itself.

    That's ridiculous.

I meant, "Who is he trying to make look stupid?"
